My name is Annemieke Olmer, and with MiekWood, I give wood a second life as a unique work of art. Driven by a deep admiration for the natural beauty of wood, I create sculptural forms in which the individuality of the material takes center stage.

 

Each object arises from a quest for balance between form, character, and refinement. The whimsical lines, structures, and colors shaped by nature form the starting point for a creation with its own identity and timeless appeal.

 

With attention to detail and a great passion for the craft, I develop each piece into an exclusive object. The combination of traditional woodturning, modern techniques, and a carefully built-up glass-like finish creates a distinctive appearance in which depth, clarity, and elegance come together.
